RWC Australia is excited to announce we are seeking a Consumer Ticketing Coordinator to join our Sydney team! You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of consumer (B2C) ticketing activities, supporting the implementation of sales campaigns and customer communications in line with the RWC 2027 strategy.
Your work will include creating and updating customer-facing content, monitoring ticket sales through Ticketmaster, ensuring policies and procedures are followed, and pulling key reports to help the team stay on top of sales performance. You’ll also play a key role in supporting customer service teams, ensuring the public receives clear, accurate, and timely ticketing information.

- Support the Consumer Ticketing Lead in delivering the consumer (B2C) RWC2027 ticket sales programme across multiple sales phases
- Assist with day-to-day ticketing operations to ensure a smooth and seamless ticket purchase experience for B2C customers
- Monitor the ticketing website to ensure it remains fully functional and report any issues to the ticketing service provider for prompt resolution
- Help track ticket inventory and consumer sales across 52 matches and provide updates to the Consumer Ticketing Lead to support sales efforts
- Collaborate with the ticketing team and other functional departments to ensure consumers have up-to-date and accurate information on all public facing aspects of the tournament
- Follow established ticket sales policies and procedures throughout each sales phase
- Support the preparation and distribution of consumer communications and ensure the ticketing and customer service teams are fully informed of ticketing and marketing related content
- Respond to consumer queries and escalate complex issues to the Consumer Ticketing Lead or Customer Service Team as needed
- Contribute to delivering excellent customer service by supporting improvements in consumer communications and ticketing processes
- Assist with compiling sales data and reports to support team decision-making
- As a core part of the ticketing team, in the lead up to and at tournament time, support the overall ticketing team in any required capacity to meet ticketing requirements for customers and internal functional areas.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in ticketing or live events (multi-session program experience desirable).
- Experience working in large scale ticketing events - mandatory
- Working knowledge of Ticketmaster preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a process-driven mindset. Accuracy is key.
- Excellent communication skills and a personable, collaborative approach.
- Comfortable reviewing reports, updating web content, and handling data integrity tasks that require focus and consistency.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
