Harvey Norman National Coach, Match Official & Club Person of the month
Every great rugby moment is built on more than what happens on the field. Behind every community rugby team and club are the people who lead, support and give their time to make the game possible.
The Harvey Norman Coach, Match Official and Club Person of the month recognises and celebrates the people who embody the values that define our game and whose commitment helps rugby thrive at every level.
Each month, individuals are nominated by players, club members, members of the public and member unions across Australia, with one standout coach, match official and club person recognised nationally for their impact on the game. These recipients represent the very best of rugby’s values and the strength of our community.
The Harvey Norman Coach, Match Official and Club Person of the month campaign is your opportunity to acknowledge someone who consistently goes above and beyond for their club, team or rugby community.
To be eligible for recognition through the Harvey Norman Coach, Match Official and Club Person of the month, nominees must meet the following requirements:
- Match Officials must be registered as a 2026 Match Official in Rugby Xplorer, hold current SMART Rugby and Season Ready Accreditations and be actively refereeing.
- Coaches must hold current SMART Rugby and Season Ready accreditations, hold either a Junior/Community or Pathways & Performance Coach accreditation and be registered with their affiliated club in Rugby Xplorer.
- A Club Person must be registered in Rugby Xplorer as a volunteer with their affiliated compliant club.
Nominators are required to submit the nominee’s name, role, club or organisation, along with a brief explanation outlining why they deserve to be recognised as part of Rugby Australia’s Community Spotlight.
