Australian Rugby fans will have to keep an eye out for the new Falken 914 Rugby balls being thrown around the stadium for some fun at upcoming Test matches.

The strong grip balls feature Falkens’ tyre tread which helps to enhance performance both on the field and on the road. The production of the new balls follows the announcement that Falken Tyres have re-signed as an official partner of the Qantas Wallabies for a further two years.

Marketing Manager of Falken Tyres Australia William Ng said ‘’Renewing with the Wallabies is a natural fit as their fundamentals are in check with ours – respect and passion.’’

‘’The timing also couldn’t be better, with the Wallabies taking on Japan this weekend. Being a Japanese tyre manufacturer, I’m cheering for both sides.”

The Japanese company will have signage rights at domestic Test match venues kicking off with the three Test Series against Ireland next June and will continue to utilise Test match corporate hospitality for key customers and retail partners.

The 2018 Test matches will be played at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane (June 9), AAMI Park in Melbourne (June 16) and Allianz Stadium in Sydney (June 23) against the Irish which will be followed by the Rugby Championship.

‘’The sponsorship lets us talk to an active and enthusiastic audience. This time around we plan to take the partnership even further with more signage, activations and offers for the fans,” said Mr Ng.

General Manager of Commercial Partnerships at Rugby Australia Peter Sciberras said ‘’An on-going focus for us is to grow the games’ fan base through sponsor activities, retail channels and on match day so we’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Falken Tyres who will help us do exactly that.’’

“We also appreciate the support of Gilbert to develop the unique Falken 914 Rugby balls,” said Mr Scibberas.
