On the eve of the first home Qantas Wallabies Test for 2019, Rugby Australia has today launched an exclusive fan platform to unite fans and bring supporters closer to the game and our national teams than ever before.

Fans are being urged to become a teammate by joining TEAM RUGBY, an exciting new online platform which offers behind-the-scenes access to players, exclusive content, VIP offers and the best pre-sale match tickets.

TEAM RUGBY is a first for the code and over one million fans are expected to join the journey ahead of the Rugby World Cup by logging on to Team.Rugby and completing a simple sign-up to gain access to exclusive news, features and competitions.

25-Test former Wallaby and Rugby Australia Head of Marketing & Digital, Adam Freier said: “For the first time, Rugby fans in Australia will have a dedicated platform to be able to connect with our national teams including the Qantas Wallabies, Aussie 7s teams and the Buildcorp Wallaroos, and everything that is going on in the sport.

“Joining TEAM RUGBY is being a teammate and it’s that notion of mateship that binds our teams together for the challenges they face on the Rugby field and is synonymous with the Australian way.

“We need all Australians to get behind our national teams, show them the true power of mateship, and show the world that you can never underestimate an Aussie.

“Fans who sign on to become a teammate will be rewarded with some fantastic Rugby content such as exclusive access to team news, video content, special offers and competitions, partner deals and plenty more.”

To launch TEAM RUGBY one lucky Qantas Wallabies fan can win the ultimate fan prize – a trip for two to a choice of any match played in Australia in 2020, including flights and accommodation. The prize includes a behind-the-scenes inner sanctum VIP tour, and a photo with the Wallabies/Wallaroos in their official Test team photo!
