Rugby Australia Chairman Hamish McLennan said:

“The thoughts of the Australian Rugby community are with Brent Impey and his family at this time following his diagnosis of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

“The partnership between Rugby Australia and New Zealand Rugby is one built on history and friendship which we really value above all else, and is in large part due to the leadership of Brent since he became Chairman in 2014.

“We wish Brent all the best and hope for a speedy recovery.”
