Rugby Australia and the Queensland Reds are delighted to announce back rower Harry Wilson has re-committed to Australian Rugby until at least the end of 2025.
Wallaby number 933, Wilson made his debut for Australia against New Zealand in the drawn Wellington Test in 2020, the same year he made his Super Rugby debut for the Reds.
The 22-year-old has gone on to wear the gold jersey in a further 11 Tests, starting on all bar one occasion and scoring two tries.
Originally from Gunnedah before moving to Brisbane as a 10-year-old, Wilson has become a stalwart in the maroon jersey over the past four seasons and notched his 50th cap for Queensland last month.
A successful Rugby pathway product, Wilson represented both the Queensland and the Australian Schoolboys and was named the Queensland U19s player of the year in 2018.
He was also selected in the 2019 Junior Wallabies U20s World Championship campaign, starting at blindside flanker in the final where the side fell agonisingly short of lifting the trophy.
Later that year, Wilson was named the Rising Star of the National Rugby Championship having represented Queensland Country.
Wilson is the latest of a long list of key Australian Rugby talent who have re-signed until at least the British and Irish Lions Tour in 2025.

Wallabies head coach Eddie Jones said: “Harry needs to work harder to fulfil his talent.”
“I’m sure he will make the right choice and we are backing him 100%.”
Queensland Reds General Manager – Professional Rugby Sam Cordingley said: “Harry had a fair amount of interest from overseas clubs, so it’s great to have him remain in Queensland Rugby through 2025.
“I’m sure he’ll be highly motivated to achieve success with both the Reds and Wallabies over the next two seasons.”
