The Wallabies will make history by hosting the first ever international event at Sydney’s brand new Allianz Stadium when they play South Africa on Saturday, September 3.

The world-class venue will hold 42,500 supporters and bring fans closer to the action than ever before, creating an unrivalled spectator experience.

Supporters will receive 100% rain cover in all seats, with clear sight-lines to the pitch, video screens and other spectator seating zones to enhance the event-day experience.

Improved accessibility will provide more opportunities for a diverse range of people of different ages, backgrounds, gender, and mobility to experience the Wallabies play live like never before.

Hospitality giant, Merivale, has come on board as the inaugural food and beverage partner at Allianz Stadium, which will take game day food and beverage options to another level at Sydney’s newest rectangular stadium.

The Wallabies will meet the World Champion Springboks two weeks in a row as part of the 2022 eToro Rugby Championship, with the sides clashing at the Adelaide Oval seven days earlier.

Rugby Australia CEO, Andy Marinos said: Rugby Australia CEO, Andy Marinos said: “We are extremely excited to be able to host the first ever international event at the new Allianz Stadium.”
