Caterpillar Race

Assemble a start and finish line, and seat participants in straight lines of four or more.

Each participant must reach back and hold the feet of the participant behind them.

On the Coach's signal, participants must work as a team to move forward like a ‘Caterpillar’, racing other teams towards the finish line.

Participants develop their teamwork in this fun and competitive activation game.

• Alter the space between the start and finish lines so that participants have further to move.
• Ask the teams to change direction or move backwards.
• Set a time limit and see how far each team can move down the field.
