Kick Tennis
Description
Assemble two opposing grids similar to a tennis court, and divide participants into two teams. To earn a point, participants must kick the ball above shoulder height and attempt to land the ball in the opposing team's grid. After a set period of time, the team with the most points wins.
Equipment
- 12 x cones
- 1 x ball
Coaching Outcome
Participants develop their kicking accuracy, catching, and communication in this fun variation of tennis.
Change It
- Swap points for elimination. If a participant drops a ball or a ball lands closest to them, they are eliminated. Each time a team catches a kick, one eliminated participant may return.
- Alter the size of the grid to encourage participant to look for space when kicking the ball.
