School Events - Victoria

The Tri Tag Gala Day is for all secondary school students with age grade competitions available for year 7-8, 9-10 & 11-12. Within these 3 graded competitions school will compete in a non-contact format of rugby, with teams showcasing their skills and working together in a round robin tournament with victors to be named in all 3 divisions.

There are options across the year for either Mixed Tri Tag, Girls or Boys only. The event will begin with skills and game based activations to refresh students knowledge of the laws of the games and the basics in skills led by our coaches, allowing new and returning players to learn on the day

The Murrindindi Tri Tag Gala Day is a non contact gala day offered to schools in the Murrindindi and surrounding shires. A non-contact introduction to the game of rugby for all primary school students from grade 3 to grade 6, with training offered before the event to upskill, refresh and train students who are new, returning or never played rugby before, schools will be able to participate on the day regardless of experience.

The 'Rugby Victoria end of Term Gala Day' is a great way for your students to show off their skills in a competitive, friendly round robin competition, Offered to Primary School students Grades 5-6.

This event will begin with a training session for students to refresh or learn the basics of the game, allowing students who may have missed or not been coached to participate, these training sessions along with the games will be coached and refereed by our experienced coaches.

The All Abilities Rugby Day is for Special Development Schools, offering a unique day out for your students to participate in the game of rugby through fun activations and games where they will work together and compete against other schools and work towards playing modified variations of rugby Tri Tag, Rugby Netball, Rugby Baseball and many other fun games. The Cattermole Cup and Leota Cup are our one Day 7s Gala Days for girls and co-ed students respectively. Register to play full contact 7s, give your students the chance to experience a fast paced, physical version of our game. With grades in U14, U16 and U18s there are a range of options for your school to compete
