First-ever Season Launch Special to feature LIVE crosses to Australian Super Rugby teams and Qantas Wallabies Head Coach Dave Rennie LIVE on set - 2pm AEDT Thursday on FOX SPORTS News.
With less than two weeks to go before kick off in the 2020 Vodafone Super Rugby season, FOX SPORTS and Rugby Australia have teamed up to produce a one-hour season launch show to air this Thursday (23 Jan).
In a first for Super Rugby, the special season launch broadcast will air on FOX SPORTS News (Foxtel channels 500 and 602) at 2pm AEDT on Thursday, just over a week prior to the opening match on Aussie soil between the Brumbies and Reds on Friday, January 31.
Hosted by FOX SPORTS’ Greg Clark and Hall of Fame Wallaby, Tim Horan the 60-minute show will feature an in-depth preview of the season, as well as LIVE crosses to the Captains and Coaches of each Australian Super Rugby team on location at their pre-season trial match venues in Albury (NSW) and Dalby (Qld).
The panel will also be joined LIVE in studio by new Qantas Wallabies Head Coach, Dave Rennie in his first Australian TV interview since accepting the role in November 2019, as well as Rugby Australia Chief Executive, Raelene Castle.
The full broadcast will also be simulcast across the FOX SPORTS Rugby, Rugby Australia and Qantas Wallabies facebook pages, as well as the official facebook pages of each of the four Australian Super Rugby teams.
