Welcome to Season 2023!
Season Rollover
- The season rollover is now complete!
2023 Registrations
- Clubs and associations can begin to open 2023 registrations by editing their payment settings and changing them to display as ‘open’. All clubs (excluding NTRU summer competitions) have had their payment settings marked as ‘closed’.
- Please remember all players should have an active registration before commencing training and participation in matches to be insured.
- In partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF), people can now add on tax-deductible donations when registering for your club. Those donations will then be granted to your club and the donor will receive a tax-receipt. For your club to be eligible to receive these donations, you must be signed up with the ASF. This only takes 10 minutes and is free to do. To sign up or find out more about the ASF click here.
Season 2023 Checklist
- Update all ‘My Club’ details including Details, Contacts, Game Formats and Website tabs (Administration > My Club).
- Ensure everyone has the correct ‘club admin’ and ‘team admin’ user permissions (Administration > User Management).
- Remember, you should remove old ‘club admins’. Team admins have been removed as part of the season rollover process.
- Check your bank account details. No change required if they have not changed (Payment Settings > My Account Details).
- Update and ‘Open’ your payment settings (Payment Settings > Payment Settings).
2023 Risk & Insurance
- 2023 individual player risk and insurance levies and additional insurance information is available here.
- New Certificates of Currency are now available in your ‘My Club’ page of the Rugby Xplorer admin portal.
- Please note, Rugby Xplorer has been updated with 2023 risk and insurance levies and these will display in the Fees Breakdown page at club level as part of the season rollover.
Rugby Portal
- All registered coaches and match officials require a current Smart Rugby accreditation. If they do not have a current accreditation, a ‘nag’ will appear in their Rugby Xplorer Portal, directing them to the Rugby AU Learning Centre to complete Smart Rugby.
- All referees will need to add their unavailability (one-off and recurring) plus related teams (when clubs have created their teams) for the new season.
Cadbury Cheer & a Half
- 42% of local sports clubs don’t have enough volunteers^. Additionally, a lot of clubs have been struggling financially since the COVID19 pandemic.
- To help out, in 2023, Cadbury is giving A Cheer & A Half to help support local sports clubs. For more information and to register your club click here.
