Queensland Reds Academy Coordinator
Purpose
Working as part of the Queensland Reds Professional Rugby department, the role will be responsible for overseeing all administrative and logistical components of the Queensland Reds Academy program and affiliated competitions.
Key Accountabilities
Logistics and Operations
- Manage all logistical and administration aspects of the Queensland Reds Academy squads and representative teams/programs. The teams include: Reds U15, U16, U18 and U19 and Emerging Reds Cup U14, U15 and U16
- Order apparel and equipment for the relevant programs
- Coordinate appropriate training and match venues for the relevant games/tournaments
- Ensure that all players, parents and staff are communicated with appropriately
- Attend all matches, trainings and tournaments as per the Queensland Reds Academy and National program schedule
- Coordinate the set up and pack down of relevant training sessions
- Maintain appropriate records via coordinated effective systems
- When time permits, provide logistical support for the Queensland Reds program
Schools and Clubs Connection
- Support the processes between the Queensland Reds Academy and key schools and clubs to ensure a coordinated approach to player development
Organisation Contribution
- Support Queensland rugby with initiatives to grow the game in Queensland
National Program Alignment
- Maintain all reporting and deliverables in line with the obligations within the National High Performance agreement
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with the relevant national staff
