Australian 7s Squad for 2019 Pacific Games

The Aussie 7s side to compete in the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa has been named, featuring Australia’s next generation of sevens stars including Rhiannon Byers, Jakiya Whitfield and Madison Ashby Higgins.

Lauren Brown, Cassie Staples, Page McGregor and Yasmin Meakes will be providing valuable experience to the side as they face Samoa, New Caledonia and American Samoa in Pool A.

The team will then look to take on either Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Nauru or Solomon Islands in the finals.

The Tournament will be played across two days (12-13 July) at Marist Stadium in Samoa.
