Coaches can select to deliver any of the three main formats below:
- Touch 7s
- Sevens (7s)
- Fifteens (XVs)
Touch 7s is fun, fast and non-contact format of Rugby. The program often runs for 6-8 weeks at schools and Rugby Clubs between September and February.
Sevens (7s) is the fastest growing format of Rugby. With seven players on the field for seven minute halves it’s packed with fun. The program runs in schools and Rugby Clubs throughout the year and tournaments kick off between September and February.
Fifteens (XVs) is the traditional format of the game and is run in schools and Rugby Clubs between April and September.
