Coach
Smart Rugby has been available in Australia for more than a decade and is updated annually to reflect changes to the game.
From October 2024, there will be a number of options available for coaches to complete this accreditation.
- Smart Rugby (Junior Coach)
- Smart Rugby (Community Coach)
- Smart Rugby (Refresher)
- Smart Rugby (Face-to-Face event)
There will also be Smart modules - i.e., Smart Tackle, which will be built to enhance confidence and competence, as well as assisting with accreditation maintenance.
To start or update your Smart Rugby accreditation please follow the instructions below:
- Select ‘Learning Centre'
- Select ‘Coaches' to navigate to the 'Training Library'
- Click on the correct coaching environment - 'Junior Coach', 'Community Coach' or 'Pathways and Performance Coach'
- Select the appropriate Smart Rugby course and enrol.
Member Unions will offer Smart Rugby as a face-to-face course. The new program will be approximately 3-hours in duration and free-of-charge
