Multi-factor authentication is now available in the Rugby Xplorer app.

- Have you updated your app?
- This update includes new backend technology functionality, clearance/transfer button redirects to Help webpage in browser, multi-factor authentication and linked accounts information pop-up.
Rugby Xplorer Portal Updates
- When linking accounts there is a new information pop-up including next steps of the process.
- An email will be sent to the user requesting they verify the linking of their account. If they accept, their record will appear in your list of participants that can be registered. If they decline, they will not be added to your list.
- Rugby Xplorer authentication will log you out after 24 hours of inactivity.
Admin Portal Updates
- Association admins updating competition cases can only enter today’s date or a date in the future.
- This will ensure the overnight process picks up any changes to competition cases and makes the player available.
- Note, if you select available as ‘Yes’, the player will become available automatically. This is used in cases of tournaments where players may play multiple games in one day.
- Competition Team List settings have been updated for new competitions.
- Competition Case Report returning all results for the association.
Rugby Xplorer Payment Gateway
- Pin Payments, Rugby Xplorer's payment gateway, are conducting maintenance on their system which includes crucial infrastructure updates on Thursday 27 July 10pm-12am.
- Please be aware that Rugby Xplorer registrations will be down during this time.
Development Requirement Gathering
- Thank you to everyone who submitted a development requirement. Your submissions have been collated and discussed with the Rugby Admin Advisory Committee. If they are agreed, will be prioritised and scheduled for development.
Club Updates
- As teams are moving into finals you can download the ‘Player and Team Official History Report’ to see the number of matches players and team officials have been selected in. The key for player appearances is:
- P = player selected in the starting team list,
- R = selected as a reserve in the starting team list,
- S = substitution movement added against the player in the Rugby Match Day app,
- Please note, when you download the report, you will receive the following message: “We are generating your report, a download link will be sent to [email] once it's ready.” This alerts the user that the server has begun work on the report and when it’s ready, they’ll receive a download link in their email. Player and Team Official History Report pulls information from many matches so may take a few minutes to download.
- Additional Club Reports are listed here.
- Have you checked all your ‘pending’ Registration Refund Requests in Rugby Xplorer? These need to be reviewed and actioned prior to the season rollover.
- The ‘Processing Refunds’ help article explains the process and requires all four entities (club, association, state and national) to review the request before it is processed.
- Find-a-club website has been updated, ensure your club appears in all possible searches by updating your Game Formats in the admin portal (Administration > My Club > Game Formats tab).
